Give campaign recipients a one-click way to opt out. When someone unsubscribes, Stardex marks them Do Not Contact, stops their campaigns, and keeps them out of future ones, so nobody on your team has to do it by hand. The link is off by default and is turned on per campaign. Admins can change the footer text and see everyone who unsubscribed.
  1. Open Campaigns and select the campaign.
  2. Above the steps, turn on Include Unsubscribe Link.
It saves right away and applies to the next emails the campaign sends, including to people already enrolled. Use Send test email to preview how the footer looks. Turn on the link for a campaign — screenshot 1

What recipients see

A short line at the bottom of each email, under your signature: “Don’t want to hear from me again? unsubscribe”. The word unsubscribe is the link. What happens when someone unsubscribes

  • The person is marked Do not contact, with the campaign name as the reason.
  • All their active campaigns stop, not only the one they unsubscribed from. They show as Cancelled on each campaign’s recipients list.
  • Their email address cannot be enrolled in a campaign again, even from another profile that uses the same address.

This applies to campaigns from everyone in your workspace, whichever mailbox sends them, and even if Enforce Person Do Not Contact is turned off.

For admins

Organization admins can:
  • Change the wording of the unsubscribe footer
  • See everyone who unsubscribed
  • Remove someone from the unsubscribe list
All three are in Settings → Organization → Campaigns: stardex.com/settings?tab=organization&section=campaigns. Other teammates do not see these settings. In Unsubscribe Footer, type your own wording and click Save. Put {{unsubscribe_link}} where the link should go. Leave the box empty to use the default. The text is shared by every campaign in the workspace. Change the footer text — screenshot 7

See who unsubscribed

Unsubscribed Recipients lists every address that unsubscribed, with the person, the campaign, and when. Use Search by email to find someone. See who unsubscribed — screenshot 8

Remove someone from the list

Do this only if the person has asked to hear from you again.
  1. Click the trash icon on their row.
  2. Choose Remove and clear Do Not Contact so campaigns can email them again. Remove alone keeps them marked Do Not Contact.
Their cancelled campaigns do not restart. Enroll them again if needed. Remove someone from the list — screenshot 9
